Publication Ethics and Editorial Policy

The editorial policy and ethical standards of the collection of scientific papers "Control, Navigation and Communication Systems" are based on the principles of academic integrity, objectivity, and transparency. In their activities, the editorial board, authors, and reviewers are strictly guided by the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and international publishing standards.

Ethical Obligations of the Editorial Board

  • Impartiality: Ensuring the objective consideration of all submitted manuscripts based solely on their scientific value, relevance, and reliability, regardless of the authors' race, gender, religious beliefs, or institutional affiliation.

  • Evaluation procedure: Organization of independent double-blind peer review involving competent specialists to ensure a high scientific level of publications.

  • Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding unpublished materials. Members of the editorial board do not have the right to use unpublished authors' data in their own research without written consent.

  • Conflict management: Preventing and resolving any conflicts of interest among editors, authors, and reviewers.

Ethical Obligations of Authors

  • Originality: Providing exclusively original research results that have not been previously published and are not under consideration in other publications.

  • Reliability: Prohibition of any forms of academic plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification.

  • Transparency: Clear disclosure of research funding sources and declaration of any potential conflicts of interest.

  • Integrity in the use of technologies: Compliance with the publication's policy regarding the mandatory and transparent declaration of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools during the preparation of the manuscript.

Ethical Obligations of Reviewers

  • Objectivity: Providing a reasoned and impartial assessment of the manuscript within the timeframes established by the editorial office. Personal criticism of the authors is unacceptable.

  • Review ethics: Maintaining complete confidentiality of the reviewed materials.

  • Vigilance: Mandatory notification of the Editor-in-Chief about any identified significant text overlaps (suspicions of plagiarism) with previously published works, as well as the presence of a conflict of interest that prevents objective assessment.

Policy for Responding to Violations

The editorial board reacts uncompromisingly to any manifestations of academic dishonesty. All suspicions regarding violations of publication ethics, plagiarism, or manipulations are considered in accordance with the journal's approved "Complaints Procedure" and "Retraction Policy for Published Articles".
