Journal Aim

The aim of the academic journal “Academic Journal. Industrial Machine Building, Civil Engineering” is to disseminate and promote the results of fundamental and applied scientific research in the specialties G11 – Industrial Machine Building, G17 – Architecture and Urban Planning, and G19 – Civil Engineering. The journal focuses on advancing scientific and technological potential and implementing innovative solutions in the design, construction, operation, and reconstruction of technical systems, architectural objects, and civil engineering structures.

The activities of the editorial board are aimed at ensuring high standards of academic integrity, objective, independent, and transparent peer review, as well as fostering an open scientific environment and the free exchange of knowledge among researchers regardless of national or ideological boundaries.

Journal Objectives

  • publication of research and scientific-technical results in the fields of machine building, applied mechanics, transport systems, and construction machinery;
  • coverage of research in architecture and urban planning, including architectural design, as well as the formation and development of the urban environment;
  • dissemination of research results related to the design, construction, operation, and reconstruction of buildings and structures, including their structural systems, bases, and foundations;
  • development of scientific approaches in building physics, building engineering systems, energy efficiency, and sustainable development;
  • support of interdisciplinary research at the intersection of architecture, construction, mechanics, and engineering;
  • promotion of the development and implementation of modern design and construction technologies, including digital modeling methods and lifecycle management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), as well as innovative structural solutions, resource-efficient and energy-saving technologies, and principles of ecological and circular construction, including reuse and recycling of construction materials;
  • ensuring a high-quality, unbiased, and transparent peer-review process in accordance with international publishing standards;
  • adherence to the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics;
  • creation of a platform for scientific communication among researchers, architects, engineers, educators, and students;
  • facilitation of the integration of research results into the international scientific community;
  • promotion of modern architectural, engineering, and technological solutions in relevant fields.
