Archiving and Storage Policy

The academic journal “Academic Journal. Industrial Machine Building, Civil Engineering ” adheres to the principle of long-term preservation of published materials in order to ensure permanent and uninterrupted access to scholarly content.

All published issues and materials of the journal are stored in the electronic archive on the official website and remain available to readers through the archive page.

The journal uses digital preservation mechanisms compatible with the LOCKSS system. A LOCKSS Publisher Manifest is published on the journal’s website, allowing the LOCKSS system to harvest, preserve, and, if necessary, provide access to the journal’s archival units.

In addition, the journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides an additional level of long-term digital preservation of the journal’s content within the OJS archiving infrastructure.

Furthermore, electronic copies of the journal issues are archived in the open international digital repository Internet Archive, where a dedicated journal collection has been created: Academic Journal. Industrial Machine Building, Civil Engineering. This ensures independent backup preservation of materials and expands global access to scholarly content.

Printed and electronic copies of the journal are submitted in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine regarding mandatory deposit copies of documents. Printed copies are sent to designated recipients as part of the mandatory deposit system, while electronic copies of the printed periodical scientific publication are transferred for preservation to the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine in accordance with the established procedure.

Full texts and metadata of published materials are deposited in the Institutional Repository of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, which provides an additional level of institutional preservation and access to scholarly content.

Each published issue and article of the journal is assigned a DOI, ensuring stable identification and facilitating the search, referencing, and citation of published materials.

The journal has ISSN numbers for both electronic and print versions, ensuring proper bibliographic identification and registration of published materials
