Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of using standardization and certification as tools to improve the safety of tourism and recreation activities. The relevance of the study is due to the need to form effective mechanisms for managing the safety of tourism services in the context of increasing mobility of tourist flows, increased competition in the tourism market and increased consumer demands for the quality and reliability of the tourism product. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate the role of standardization and certification in the formation of the safety system of tourism and recreation activities and to determine the possibilities of their integration into modern models of risk management of tourism enterprises. In the process of the study, general scientific methods of analysis and generalization, a systematic approach, methods of comparison and structuring were used, which allowed a comprehensive consideration of the mechanisms of regulatory regulation of the safety of tourism services. The work analyzes the importance of international standards of quality management, environmental management and risk management in the formation of a safe tourism environment. It is shown that standardization creates a regulatory basis for the functioning of tourism enterprises, establishing uniform requirements for the organization of tourism services, while certification provides confirmation of the compliance of enterprises with these requirements. It is determined that the combination of these tools contributes to increasing the transparency of the activities of tourism market entities, strengthening consumer trust and forming competitive advantages of tourist destinations. The article proposes an integrated approach to the use of standardization and certification in the safety management system of tourism and recreation activities, which involves combining regulatory regulation with procedures for identifying risks, their assessment, monitoring and continuous improvement of management systems. Such an approach allows to increase the efficiency of tourism process management and contributes to the formation of an adaptive safety system of tourism services.
