Abstract

The article examines the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of developing the concept of project-process management of enterprises in the conditions of digital transformation of the business environment. The relevance of the research is due to the growing need of modern enterprises, particularly in the construction sector, for flexible and integrated management systems capable of ensuring effective operation in a dynamically changing digital environment. The essence and specifics of the project-process approach as an integrative management paradigm have been determined. The expediency of combining project and process management methodologies in the conditions of active digitalization of the economy has been substantiated. The main drivers of digital transformation and their impact on enterprise management systems in the construction industry have been identified. The article proposes a conceptual model of project-process management that combines the advantages of process-oriented management (systematization and optimization of repetitive operations) with project management tools (flexibility, goal-orientation, and result achievement within defined constraints). The system of principles for implementing integrated project-process management in the conditions of digital transformation has been developed, including: integration of process and project approaches; digitalization of management functions; customer-centricity; flexibility and adaptability; continuous improvement; transparency and controllability. A model of digital maturity levels of enterprises has been developed in the context of implementing integrated management, comprising five levels: initial, basic, defined, managed, and optimizing. For each level, characteristic features and technologies applicable in the context of project-process management are defined. The article also analyzes advanced digital tools supporting the implementation of the concept: ERP systems, BIM technologies, cloud platforms, artificial intelligence and machine learning, IoT solutions, and project management platforms. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the proposed conceptual model and tools by construction enterprises to increase management efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance competitiveness in the digital economy.
