On behalf of the editorial board of the printed scientific professional journal “Economics and Region” of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” I would like to congratulate teachers and graduate students of universities, scientists and practitioners. Our journal, which has been published regularly since 2003, is a highly professional edition of the national level.
The main purpose of the scientific bulletin is the coverage of scientific achievements in the field of national and regional economics, management of national economy, financial system, enterprise economics, economic security of the state and business entities.
The journal “Economics and Region” is included in the list of scientific publications, where the results of dissertations can be published; it regularly publishes the most significant achievements of leading scientists, doctoral students, graduate students, lecturers, students and practitioners.
The preparation and publication of the journal is carried out in close cooperation with the well-known scientific schools, doctoral and post-graduate studies formed at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. In addition, the editorial board of the scientific journal "Economy and Region” maintains regular creative ties with leading universities of technical and economic profile of Ukraine, as well as foreign colleagues.
I would like to note that the editorial board consists of 17 doctors of economic sciences and professors of the corresponding field, among whom 10 people work in the university, 2 people – representatives of Ukrainian universities and 5 – foreign specialists (Georgia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia). Independent experts conduct external and internal reviewing of scientific papers. This provides our journal with high quality and international publicity of topical issues of economic science and practice.
We are well aware that it is possible to gain recognition at the international level only with a sufficiently high citation index of works. That is why work is being done to include the scientific journal “Economy and Region” in international scientometric databases and to ensure representation of information about it in leading libraries around the world. In recent years alone, leading experts from Germany, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Morocco, Ukraine, and other countries have published in the journal.
We invite all interested persons to cooperate: authors – to submit relevant articles, reflecting information about the significant contributions of their research in the development of the economy; researchers and practitioners – to obtain information about modern achievements of scientific thought; students and graduate students – to gain experience in generalization and promulgation of the results of their own scientific search.
